Lukasz is from Poland, and between family and work, he also runs www.rovver.pl, a blog about cycling. We were quite happy to see that he is using our Blink theme for his WordPress installation. Let’s see what he has to share with us.
John: Hi Lukasz, first tell us a couple of things about yourself, where are you from and what you are working on this period.
Lukasz: I live in Warsaw, Poland. I run my own business: an advertising agency. But for almost all of my free time I am a cyclist. Huge fan of this fascinating sport. Few months ago I redesigned my blog, which I run since 2012. I also used one of your themes – INK. I also started to work harder on my writing as well as photography. The response was surprising. Since then I received massive feedback from my audience. They really loved the new look.
J: Your blog is now powered by Blink as I see, what is it about?
L: Exactly. Few weeks ago when I saw the Blink theme I knew that this one is designed exactly like how I see my blog. I have changed form INK because of the navigation. I needed more visible one.
My blog is all about cycling. Basically road cycling and mountain biking. I race, train and travel, I take lots of photos. A write about gear as well as cycling philosophy or training methods.
J: In general, give us an honest review of your experience with Codestag so far
L: Regarding the fact that themes work perfectly and are extremely easy to setup I love the way Codestag’s support work. I received needed help very fast and it was always substantive. And I love the design. I can not work with things that badly designed. Codestag is all about details. In design and in support. This is why I have chosen Blink.
J: Do you have any coding skills? How easy was it to work with Blink?
L: I am not a fluent HTML/JavaScript/CSS guy. I used to code in PHP but that was years ago. Now I can do some basic stuff but I am far form an expert. INK, as well as Blink are very easy to setup and very easy do modify. I am actually in process of implementing some changes in CSS. Will see how that should go :-)

J: How frequently do you blog?
L: Because blog is now my fourth “regular day task” after: family (I have 4 month’s old son), work and cycling I am not able to do this more then once or twice a week. Sometimes it is possible to do more, but after all I do not want to be a portal.
J: Any plans for the future? What’s the next step for you and your blog?
L: I have just started my newsletter which is called The Notebook. This is really big and difficult thing to do. Mailing is one of the most efficient tool to use as communication platform. I is also though one but used properly it can engage your readers very well.
Of course I am still in process of reaching and building my audience so the following year I will try to do this the best way I can. There is still a lot of polish cycling fans to get to.
