Ink v2.0 comes with a long waited option for a traditional-style navigation menu, which appears on a white header instead as overlay over the featured image.
To enable this, at your dashboard go to Appearance > Customize and click on the Styling Settings tab. You should be able to select the Navigation layout (Traditional / Sidebar). If your menu does not appear make sure you have assigned the menu to the Primary Menu location under Appearance > Menus.
