You can customize the appearrance of the “Page not found” (404) page at Higgs, like this one: http://demo.codestag.com/higgs/notfound
Go to Appearance > Customize and locate the “404 Error page” tab. Click to expand, and there you can customize the content of the page, and optionally add a featured image as well.
