Heads up! Not all themes are compatible with the plugins listed in this section. Before using a plugin, make sure it is compatible with the theme by checking the “Recommended Plugins for…” page of your theme’s documentation.
Instead of having a built-in solution to handle the retina images, we suggest the WP Retina 2x plugin. It is a well-coded plugin that you can choose to keep in your WordPress installation even if you decide to switch to another theme in the future.
Generally, all themes are compatible with this plugin however we cannot guarantee it works perfectly. If you get around any problems, which is rare, please contact the plugin author.
